About
My name is Salomé. I’m guided by movement and nature , & the desire to share, and I love creating spaces where we can experience all of this together.
Manifesto
Why?
Moving Mountains Collective was born out of a simple impulse: to move our inner mountains by going outside to play. It’s a step back from a world that’s constantly speeding up, a breath of fresh air outside the norm, a space to explore the connection between nature, movement, and presence in a different way.
Here, truth and sensitivity flourish like wildflowers. We celebrate movement as the art of care: caring for the body, the mind, the environment, and those who walk alongside us.
An ode to life, to slowness, and to the beauty of the right gesture.
I’ve searched for a thousand ways to justify this desire to bring people together, to create a project that stands out or is more unique, without really knowing how to put it into words. Through my hikes and encounters, everything brings me back to this need for the essential, and the words of Jacques Dor resonate:
“We should strip ourselves of everything—almost everything.” […] We should return to the essentials—just that, nothing more […] keeping deep within ourselves a fierce longing for space, for true desires, for memories yet to come, for light, for feathers, and for open arms .”
This collective is simply a wayto dare to share, create, and connect. It’s a way to lighten the burden of performance and overconsumption just a little more so we can reconnect with ourselves and turn our days into wonderful reasons to live.
Moving Mountains Collective embodies this vision.
A way of life in motion, connected to the earth and to others. A journey, with many voices, toward what soothes, what connects, and what uplifts.

This project is slowly taking root, shaped by sincerity and curiosity. For now, it’s an open space for storytelling and dreaming—a place to breathe more freely through our screens—a playground in the making, where the desire to forge connections and create meaning thrives.
Invitations to walk, breathe, move, and feel.
-
Days spent weaving a thread between walking and yoga.
Walking together, feeling the earth beneath our feet, then rolling out the mat facing the mountains. The landscapes become partners in movement, and each breath responds to the rhythm of the day.
-
A one- or two-day getaway at a mountain hut. Simple yet powerful moments when nature becomes home and fatigue turns into quiet joy.
-
Retreats lasting several days—whether on the move or based in one location—that combine mindful walking, breathing exercises, yoga, meditation, and sharing.
-
Moving Mountains Collective is also about the desire to experiment. To imagine contemplative walks under the full moon and sensory workshops, where the wind, the cold, or the texture of stone become subjects for exploration. To create nomadic readings and high-altitude talking circles, and to weave a living journal made of words, fragments, and traces.

Movement has been my language. It runs through my life like a lifeline: sixteen years of gymnastics, followed by contemporary dance and improvisation, have shaped my relationship with precise movement and bodily awareness. Ten years ago, yoga emerged as a breath, a point of balance where everything comes together: power, fluidity, gentleness, and curiosity.
Trained at Yoga Sangha under Sylvie Tremblay (Hatha & Vinyasa, 380 hours), with additional training from Albert Bissada (Yin Yoga) and Pierre-Laurier Desjardins (Advanced Anatomy), I have been teaching around the world since 2019 : in Montreal, Tenerife, the Azores, around France and Spain, in Bulgaria, and Cyprus.
I am neither a guide nor a mountain professional, and I do not organize guided hikes.
The gatherings I organize stem from my passion and are conceived as experiences in nature: moments shared on the trails—whether hiking independently or staying at mountain huts—where everyone moves at their own pace.
Through yoga, meditation, and mindful movement, I help participants connect with their breath, become more aware of their bodies, and deepen their connection to life.
Moving Mountains Collective continues along this path.
A space for living experiences, shared breaths, and connections forged through movement. A place to pass on what the mountains have taught me—and continue to teach me: confidence in each step, the joy of community, and presence in the world.
A way of life in motion, connected to the earth, the body, and what truly matters.
I can’t wait to share all of this with you!
Who is behind all of that?
My name is Salomé.
The mountains gently entered my life, first through the words of others, then through my own footsteps. They have given me a sense of slowness, simplicity, and that rare ability to listen: to the wind, to the heart, and to the silence that holds life. Every hike teaches me the freedom of movement, the truth of presence, and the precious art of fully inhabiting the moment.
Over the years, I have conceived and led group experiences where the body becomes a place of connection: retreats, nature getaways, workshops, and traveling practices—all moments when life feels more expansive.
In 2023, I founded Tulia Guesthouse, a cozy yet rustic guesthouse in Tenerife, where I live part of the year.
Between the lunar landscapes of Mount Teide and the prehistoric forest of Anaga, I live in harmony with the elements: yoga, hiking, running, and contemplation.
The rest of the year is spent traveling and spending summers in the French and Italian Alps, following the rhythm of the trails and the altitude.
My travels—the GR54, GR58, the Grand Paradis circuit and ascent, Alta Via 1, Capanna Margherita…—nourish my practice, my teaching, and my vision: that of a true, grounded, and vibrant movement.
